Citizen Science – sharing good practice

Citizen Science is an event that aims  to bring together individuals, local groups, third sector organisations and data users to look at the lessons that can be taken from current practice to increase the extent and effectiveness of public involvement in environmental monitoring, including on sites and in the wider countryside.

In particular this event will discuss the opportunities for public engagement, how best to maximise these opportunities, the co-ordination of public involvement and the use of 'new' technology.

The event will be held at SNH, Battleby Conference Centre, Perth on 5 July 2011, and there are still places left for any late bookings for this event. For further information and details on how to register visit SNH’s website.
