Molecular biology & ‘omics technologies workshop, 14 January 2011

A CAMERAS workshop on the development and use of molecular biology and omics technologies in areas such as environmental monitoring, assessment and regulation was held on Friday 14 January at SASA’s Edinburgh Office. The broad aims are for Scotland to; develop a common understanding of the science of molecular biology and omics, review the applications of this science, explore opportunities for future investment in this science, identify ways in which resources and expertise could be used to deliver future capability and capacity needs in this field, and develop and pursue a CAMERAS-led work programme to help build this capability and capacity.
